Just because everything is over-sized in Egypt, and just because Jordan and Saudi Arabia started having comedy festivals, Egypt just happens to host the Middle East’s largest stand-up comedy festival to date, 3 shows running through 2 days!

Don’t get me wrong… Egypt has recently hosted the largest Middle East leg of the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour in November 2007, followed by “Maz, Ahmed & Friends” in May 2008 and “Arabs Gone Wild” in November 2008.

All of these major events were organized by Benchmark Solutions, and have attracted audiences of more than 15,000 people creating a huge buzz around standup comedy in Egypt, with plans to continue to have 3-4 events per year.

So yeah, there you have it, 2 hours per show of non-stop laughter… so show up or get your balls chopped off!! Oh and guess who’s gonna be there to review the show… yep! Ass Buster’s covering the show!
