Now what’s Stick(Red)??
In the summer of 2007, Infliktora started a custom sticker production service in Cairo, Egypt, making custom vinyl stickers per order for customers to decorate their gadgets. The service started with notebook computers and rapidly grew to making stickers for virtually everything, from cell phones, to iPods, to cars!
After being repeatedly successful, Infliktora decided to take the sticker thing a bit further. We started marketing on the internet through flickr.com and facebook’s marketplace, creating a wide customer base in Egypt.
Now, we have felt the need to contribute to society, and yet, take InfliktStickr is to another leap forward! Driven by the(RED) movement, which was created by Bono (U2) and Bobby Shriver (Chairman of DATA), to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund by teaming up with the world’s most iconic brands to produce (PRODUCT)RED branded products. A percentage of each (PRODUCT)RED product sold is given to The Global Fund. The money helps women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
We decided to contribute, on our own way. The revenue will not be sent to (RED). Instead, it will be sent to local charities in Egypt, not fighting AIDS but all other causes as well.
20% of the revenue will be sent to charity.
All you need to do is to elevate your choice.
